What Are Cookies?

Cookies are files containing an identifier (line of letters and numbers) the web server sends to your web browser, which is being stored on your device (in your computer, tablet, or mobile). In the future, when the browser requests the website from the server, the identifier will be sent back to the server. The cookies are very small and take nearly no room on your device. They do not slow down your Internet connection and using them will not affect the volume of your data transmitted.

Cookies usually do not contain any information identifying you. However, the personal data we store may be linked to the information stored in and acquired from cookies.

Types of Cookies

There are “permanent” cookies and “temporary” cookies. Permanent cookies will be stored in your web browser and remain valid until their defined expiration date. Temporary cookies will be deleted automatically after you close the web browser. You can delete all the cookies from your browser at any time. At the same time, you can turn off the use of cookies in your browser settings.
